PITTSBURGH - Traveling to the Steel City for a matchup with Pitt, the Louisville football program was unable to overcome critical mistakes and crucial injuries, getting upset 38-21 for their first loss of the season.

The Atlantic Coast Conference put together a highlight tape of the matchup, which you can see here:

  • Louisville falls to 8-10 in the all-time series vs. Pittsburgh, including 5-8 in Pittsburgh and 2-5 at Acrisure Stadium.
  • The Cards drop to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play, both marks last achieved in 2016.
  • Louisville's winning streak ends at seven games, tied for 10th longest in program history.
  • Louisville holds Pittsburgh to 288 yards of total offense.
    • The Cards have held three straight opponents under 300 yards of total offense for the first time since 2015.
  • Louisville allows a pick six for the first time since a 31-17 loss at Virginia on Nov. 14, 2020.
  • Player Notes:

    • RB Maurice Turner rushed for a season-high 81 yards on 12 carries.
    • RB Jawhar Jordan was limited to two carries for eight yards due to injury, both totals being his lowest since the final regular season game of 2021.

Plummer has completed a touchdown pass in all seven of his games at Louisville and nine straight games going back to his career at California. Plummer has two 300-yard passing games this season. Plummer's 29 completions and 52 attempts are both the most by a Louisville player since Jawon Pass was 30-54 passing vs. Wake Forest in 2018.
