LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Following a blowout victory over Murray State in their 2023 home opener, the Louisville football program is set to play their second neutral site matchup in three games, traveling up I-65 for a showdown with Indiana.

The Cardinals are off to their best start since 2017, and their two wins on the season have come in very different fashions. They had to overcome a 15-point halftime deficit to take down Georgia Tech 39-34 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Aflac Kickoff Classic, then followed that up with a 56-0 beatdown of the Racers in their home opener.

As for the Hoosiers, their first two games of the season have also gone in opposite directions. Indiana fell to No. 3 Ohio State in their season opener after only putting up three points and 153 yards of offense, but held the prolific Buckeyes to 23 points and 380 yards in the process. They then turned around and produced a 41-7 victory over in-state FCS foe Indiana State.

This will be the third all-time meeting between Louisville and Indiana, with the Hoosiers holding a 2-0 advantage in the series. The only two matchups in this series came in 1985 and 1986, both at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, with IU winning 41-28 in the first matchup and 21-0 in the second.
