LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville football program is continuing to make strides with some of their top recruiting targets in the Class of 2025.

St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter College Prep running back Jamarion Parker dropped his top seven schools on Thursday, with the Cardinals still in the running for his commitment. Arkansas, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Purdue and Tennessee also made the cut.

The previous staff at Louisville got involved early with Parker's recruitment, originally offering him back in January of 2022 when he was only a freshman in high school. While Parker was only re-offered by the current staff earlier this month, he has a long-standing relationship with head coach Jeff Brohm and running backs coach Chris Barclay, as they offered him while at Purdue back in February of 2022.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound running back is one of the top players at his position in the 2025 cycle. He ranks as high as the No. 2 all-purpose back and the No. 124 overall prospect in the class, according to Rivals. Both 247Sports and ESPN peg him as a top-250 recruit, with Parker coming in as the No. 223 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite.

Louisville has yet to land a commitment in the Class of 2025. In the more immediate 2024 cycle, the Cardinals sport a 12-man class, and have landed four verbal pledges during the month of June.
