BREAKING: LSU Lands Commitment From Elite RB JT Lindsey

Lindsey joins Harlem Berry as the pair of LSU running back commitments in the 2025 cycle, Tigers add another key piece.

Brian Kelly and the LSU football staff added another coveted prospect to the 2025 class with four-star, Top 150 running back JT Lindsey revealing his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday.

Lindsey, one of the top rated prospects in Louisiana, announced his pledge during his unofficial visit to Baton Rouge for the Spring Game.

After receiving an offer on Tuesday, Lindsey wasted no time in joining the class as Kelly and Co. continue bolstering the cycle to new heights.

LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson has monitored the growth of the Alexandria Senior High (La.) star over the last few months, and after a visit to Baton Rouge this week, he made the move to extend a scholarship to the Louisiana native.

Wilson and the Tigers have been in close contact with the No. 3 running back in Louisiana as he continues navigating his offseason before what many expect to be a dominant senior campaign.

Lindsey has shined throughout his high school career, becoming a national recruit during his junior season, and the LSU staff had high hopes of keeping the star running back in The Boot.

On3 boosted Lindsey from an unranked prospect to a Top 150 recruit in America in their latest update, checking in as the No. 11 running back in the country.

LSU also holds a commitment from the No. 1 running back in America in New Orleans five-star Harlem Berry, but it may not stop there, even after Lindsey revealed his pledge.

Wilson and the Tigers have been pursuing four-star running back and Top 150 prospect James Simon heavily over the last few months as well.

LSU's motto remains the same; "The best in The Boot, stay in The Boot," and that is telling in their 2025 class so far.

Louisiana holds three of the top 12 running backs in the country in Berry, Simon and Lindsey, but will WIlson and Co. take three running backs in the 2025 cycle? In short, yes, if it comes down to it, but two have already made the move.

Now, Simon is the lone running back left on the offer list who hasn't revealed his commitment.

For Simon, LSU brought in the coveted back for a visit to Death Valley in late March, hoping he would shut down his recruitment and reveal a pledge, but Simon remains on the market navigating a busy spring of visits. It's simple. If Simon wants to be a Tiger, LSU will welcome him with open arms.

LSU currently boasts the No. 2 recruiting class in America with star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 signal-caller in the country, headlining the crew.

Moving forward, this staff has their sights set on continuing to reel in a handful of the top prospects left on their board with official visit season inching closer.
