Future 50 Impressions: Wide Receivers

The Future 50 morning workouts had great players across the board, but the wide receiver position might have been the deepest at the event.
It was also cool that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was there coaching all these guys up. He was serious about his business and it was good to see a pro athlete give back to these young men.
Here’s a look at some of the wide receiver prospects that stood out, among many.
No order below as each player was really good.
Isaiah Mozee, Kansas City (Mo.) Lee’s Summit North
His ability to make cuts – while staying low to the ground and keeping leverage versus defensive backs – could not be ignored. Mozee’s breaks were fantastic overall.
He’s a well-built young man. Mozee showed an explosiveness out of his cuts that fit the profile of someone that’s been trained and understands using one’s size and strength like he should. Once he opened up his gate, he could really run as well.
Winston Watkins, Jr., Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Best route runner in the 2025 recruiting class? Watkins has taken his craft seriously and he’s a crafty player after the catch, too. He’s been on the recruiting scene since he was in eighth grade and playing with Cam Newton’s 7v7 team, so it’s no surprise he’s balling out now as well.
Always had high praise for @winstonwatkins_ and this catch was just another example of his athleticism pic.twitter.com/GT7ijvrhbj

Watkins will be a tremendous slot receiver for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
Ryan Williams, Saraland (Ala.) High School - Alabama commitment
The 2022 Alabama State Player of the Year was explosive and decisive despite being banged up a bit. Hard to imagine him at 100% like defenses in the Yellowhammer State had to take on last fall.
Point blank, Williams' explosiveness has been on another level for a long time and that was evident again today. He's just a different dude. Easy going off the field, Williams was an assassin when running routes.
The speed Williams can hit even when immediately coming out of a break was eye popping. Hard to imagine him not ending up being at least a college star.
Jaime Ffrench, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin
Loved watching him charge off the line of scrimmage and gobble up the distance between himself and the cornerback before making his first cut. Ffrench showed yet again, like he's done since he was in eighth grade, that he can absolutely fool defensive backs and then go grab a tough catch to boot.
Smooth, instinctive and competitive, Ffrench will be hard to guard one-on-one at the college level. He just finds a way to get open.
Dakorien Moore, Duncanville (Texas) High School
Moore looked the part and played it even better. Smooth yet powerful, he’s a technician with a muscular frame. When combined with his ability to break down and make stop-and-start moves, one can see the future will be bright for this young man.
He just needs to stay on the current path of learning routes and moves (the grind never stops). If Moore does that, he can be a truly elite football player.
Naeshaun Montgomery, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman
The recent move-in from Rhode Island has shown a natural burst, long levers, a quick first step, and tracks the football in traffic well. He’s one of those budding players that one just simply wonders how many different ways he could torment a defense.
Seeing 👀 @NaeshaunM live was a testament to why he’s a potential difference-maker at the Power 5 level. #Future50 #recruiting pic.twitter.com/SvttjSCxd4

If Montgomery’s technique continues to climb the ladder and matches his athleticism, he could be as good as he wants to be. He was a blast to watch.
Daylan McCutcheon, Allen (Texas) Lovejoy
Tremendous short-area quickness and change of direction. McCutcheon has worked his craft well to date, based on how consistent he was off the line of scrimmage.
He also displayed the ability to consistently catch the football away from his body and be a natural receiver. McCutcheon played more like a college player in that regard. Impressive pass catcher.
