Michigan football signed 27 players during the Early Signing Day period. The Wolverines inked several key 2024 components that should make a name for themselves at some point in time in Ann Arbor.

According to The Michigan Insider, eight of those players have joined the Michigan football team in Pasadena to begin practicing. They will give the Wolverines an extra hand during practice prep before Michigan faces Alabama in the Rose Bowl.

Those eight players are:

- Four-star QB Jadyn Davis

- Four-star TE Brady Prieskorn

- Four-star OT Blake Frazier

- Four-star LB Jeremiah Beasley

- Four-star ATH/S Jacob Oden

- Four-star OL Jake Guarnera

- Four-star EDGE Dominic Nichols

- Four-star LB Cole Sullivan

Obviously, they won't see any game action during this trip, but getting a head start to practice with Michigan should pay dividends to all eight players and they are set to get a head start learning the playbook for next season.

Quarterback Jadyn Davis might be the biggest piece to the puzzle here who will gain significant experience working with the Wolverines' offense and facing the top defense in the country. We don't know what J.J. McCarthy is going to do after this season is over: enter the NFL or come back to Michigan. But if he decides to enter the NFL, then Davis will get a shot at earning the starting job as a true freshman.
