The Michigan Football program announced a new program on Monday aimed at player development. The new "M Power" initiative is designed to assist Michigan Football players navigate internships, mentorships, entrepreneurship and NIL.

Speaking with a group of Alumi in Chicago, head coach Jim Harbaugh indicated that the football program is not interested in sitting idle when it comes to preparing Michigan athletes in all facets in life.

"There's other people that aren't staying idle," Harbaugh said. "We can sit here and go, 'hey, we're Michigan, we're in a great spot'. Other people are not idling right now.

"You know, I think of these guys as my own kids," Harbaugh continued. "I mean, if it's you're own kid, they go to college, you're going to give them a car so that they can go do an internship. That's something we want to give our players. We don't want them eating the Ramen Noodles. We want to be able to feed them, want to be able to put them in a position where they can drive and get to where they need to go, just like we would do with our own kids."

On Monday, Michigan Athletics released a detailed look what what M Power is all about. You can read the full release below:
