Michigan Football Sets NFL Combine Record

Jim Harbaugh wasn't wrong when he said around 20 Wolverines from the 2023 team will get a look in the NFL.

Michigan is really, really starting to love Lucas Oil Stadium. The Wolverines have won three straight Big Ten titles in the building and as of earlier today, set the NFL Combine record by getting 18 invites to the event.

Here are all 18 invitees:

• QB J.J. McCarthy

• RB Blake Corum

• WR Cornelius Johnson

• WR Roman Wilson

• TE AJ Barner

• OL Karsen Barnhart

• OL LaDarius Henderson

• OL Trente Jones

• OL Trevor Keegan

• OL Drake Nugent

• OL Zak Zinter

• EDGE Jaylen Harrell

• EDGE Braiden McGregor

• DT Kris Jenkins

• LB Michael Barrett

• LB Junior Colson

• DB Mike Sainristil

• DB Josh Wallace

The new mark of 18 bests the previous record of 16, which was set by LSU in 2020. Ironically, the next-highest mark is from Washington (13), who Michigan beat in the national championhsip game. Next in line was Florida State (12) followed by Georgia (11), Texas (11), Alabama (10) and Penn State (10) to round out programs who sent double-digit players.
