Michigan Alters Famous Sign Inside Weight Room

In this story:
For the last couple of years, Michigan has taken its focus against Ohio State up a notch and it has clearly paid off resulting in three straight wins over the Buckeyes. At some point a couple years ago a photo began to circulate that showed a giant screen in Michigan's weight room that read, "What are you doing to beat Ohio State today?" The message served as a constant reminder that OSU is hated and the most important opponent no matter what.
We also heard about Jim Harbaugh implementing a "Beat Georgia" drill during certain portions of practice since it was the Bulldogs who knocked Michigan out of the playoffs two years ago. They're also obviously the back-to-back reigning national champions, and Harbaugh has always said that if you want to be the best you have to beat the best.
Well, Georgia didn't make the College Football Playoff this year, but Alabama did, and that's who Michigan will play on Jan. 1 in the Rose Bowl. Because of that, Harbaugh and his staff have changed up that now-famous screen that usually reminds everyone inside the weight room that OSU is the most important opponent on the schedule. Things will eventually return to normalcy, but right now it's about the Tide.
It's also worth noting that the field in the background is not Michigan Stadium — it's the Rose Bowl. This matchup is special for so many reasons and the venue is certainly one of them. Jim Harbaugh, his staff and every player on the roster understands that and is now being reminded of it every single day.
