REPORT: Sherrone Moore To Promote Kirk Campbell To Offensive Coordinator

In this story:
Multiple outlets are now reporting that Michigan quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell is expected to get promoted to become the Wolverines new offensive coordinator under new head coach Sherrone Moore.
Before being promoted to head coach, Moore was the team's offensive coordinator (and offensive line coach) meaning he was going to have to replace himself. He also seemed to indicate that he'd be giving the play calling duties to whoever the new OC would be. It now appears that Campbell will be that guy.
Campbell has served on Michigan's staff since 2022 when he was hired as an offensive analyst. In Jan. 2023, he was promoted to quarterbacks coach to replace Matt Weiss, who was fired amid an investigation by university police into allegations of computer-access crimes.
Before joining the Wolverines' staff, Campbell spent time with five schools, including Penn State and Old Dominion. He played collegiately for Division II Mercyhurst from 2004 to 2007.
