Michigan Lands Former Four-Star Notre Dame Commit

The Michigan Wolverines received some good news on the recruiting trail on Sunday. Owen Wafle, a four-star star defensive lineman out of Princeton (NJ), announced that he had flipped his commitment from Notre Dame to Michigan in a post to his twitter account.

The 6-2, 290 pound 2024 defensive prospect is currently listed as the No. 30 ranked defensive lineman in the nation, and the No. 4 overall recruit in the state of New Jersey.
Owen is just one of several big time prospects who are expected to commit to Michigan in the coming days, particularly after a successful recruiting event in Ann Arbor over the weekend.
As of now, the Michigan Wolverines currently have the No. 2 overall recruiting class in 2024 according to 247Sports.
