Four-Star Corner Down To Two Schools: Michigan And Ohio State

The battle between Michigan and Ohio State isn't just limited to the football field. Often times, it carries over onto the recruiting trail - as is the case with four-star cornerback, Bryce West.
West, a native of Ohio, was in Ann Arbor over the weekend and was impressed with his experience. According to a report by 247Sports, one thing that really stood out to West was the relationship between the players and coaches.
“What stood out to me was seeing how the coaches coach their players,” West said. “They don’t tear them down at all. If a mistake is made they always help correct it and make sure they know what they’re doing. And seeing the players never get mad at the coaches you can see that they love to be there."
West also said that he connected great with the other recruits that were on campus.
"We all connected great. Those are my brothers for real and my message was just letting them know how we can make what’s here a reality."

Although 247Sports currently has two projections in for West that have Ohio State as the favorite, there's no question that the trip to Michigan had an impact on West's recruitment. In fact, the 5-11, 177-pound corner canceled his scheduled visit to USC and is now down to just two schools: Michigan and Ohio State.
Although no official announcement has been scheduled yet, this is certainly a recruitment for Michigan fans to keep their eyes on.
