Following a dominant week one victory over East Carolina, the Michigan Wolverines remain at No. 2 in the latest AP Poll. As far as the Big Ten conference goes, all of the top teams took care of business to begin the 2023 season - with No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State, and No. 7 Penn State all securing a week one victory.
From a national perspective, two top ten teams lost convincingly against a lower ranked opponent to open the season. No. 5 LSU was smacked by No. 8 Florida State by a score of 45-24, while No. 9 Clemson went down to Duke by a score of 28-7.
