If you're a Michigan Football fan, this season has gone about as good as you could have hoped for to this point. Outside of the nonsense occurring with the NCAA, the Wolverines are a perfect 8-0 on the year, ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll, and look like the most dominant (and complete) team in the country.
Offensively, McCarthy is leading an offense that is averaging 421.6 yards per game, and is ranked No. 6 in the nation in scoring offense at 40.6 points per game. Senior running back Blake Corum leads the nation with 13 rushing touchdowns, while senior wideout Roman Wilson is tied for No. 2 nationally in TD receptions at 10.
Defensively, the Wolverines are absolutely crushing the opposition. Through eight games this season, the Michigan defense has held opponents scoreless in 24 of 32 quarters played. The Wolverines have yet to surrender a single point in the third quarter all year, and they've held 5 of their last 6 opponents scoreless in the second half.

Given how dominant the Wolverines have been through the first eight weeks of the season, it's no surprise that they have now passed Georgia as the betting favorite to win it all.
