Michigan Football: Top Ohio Prospect Eyeing Another Visit To Ann Arbor

The Michigan Wolverines certainly have the attention of four-star cornerback, Bryce West. After visiting Ann Arbor back earlier this month, the Ohio native is reportedly eyeing another visit back to Michigan.
Bill Greene of Buckeye Scoop recently reported that West is eyeing another unofficial visit back to Michigan before making his decision.
“We are thinking of going back to Michigan this week,” West told BuckeyeScoop.com. “I really enjoyed everything at Michigan two weeks ago and my family and I are talking about possibly going back up there for a day or two this week, before I take my official visit to Ohio State.”
“They have shown me a lot of love, and all the players seem really happy to be there at Michigan,” he continued. “They are telling me they can possibly see me as a starter the first year and they are very interested in me. It was great being around their players on my official.”
“My mom and dad were with me on the Michigan official visit and they will be with me on my OSU visit as well,” he said. “They are guiding me to help me make the best decision for my future, but in the end it’s going to be my decision. I want to make my decision in July.”
West, considered a heavy lean toward Ohio State, was in Ann Arbor on June 9 for an official visit and was clearly impressed with his experience. According to a report by 247Sports, one thing that really stood out to West was the relationship between the players and coaches.
“What stood out to me was seeing how the coaches coach their players,” West said. “They don’t tear them down at all. If a mistake is made they always help correct it and make sure they know what they’re doing. And seeing the players never get mad at the coaches you can see that they love to be there."
West also said that he connected great with the other recruits that were on campus.
"We all connected great. Those are my brothers for real and my message was just letting them know how we can make what’s here a reality."
With his decision now down to two rival programs, West's unexpected decision to make a return trip to Ann Arbor could certainly swing this recruitment in Michigan's favor in a hurry.
