The Buckeyes are typically one of the annual favorites to capture the biggest prize in all of college football, but their week one performance against Indiana showed some serious concerns according to one FOX analyst.

During a recent podcast segment, analyst Joel Klatt indicated that he watched the entire game between Ohio State and Indiana - and that it left him feeling concerned for the Buckeyes for several reasons.

"I watched every play of that game, and I come away pretty darn concerned for Ohio State," said Klatt. "I did not see...if you're just thinking about it from a quarterback perspective, I did not see either of these guys - whether its Kyle McCord who started the game, Devin Brown, neither of these guys show anything that would suggest like, oh yea, he's the guy. That's the last thing you wanted if you're an Ohio State fan. The last thing you wanted."

Kyle McCord played a vast majority of game as the week one starter, and finished the afternoon completing 20-of-33 attempts for 239 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. His backup, Devin Brown, completed just 1-of-3 attempts for -2 yards and 0 touchdowns.

Although there's certainly legitimate concern about the QB position, Klatt also didn't think the offensive line played particularly well either.

"The offensive line did not play well. The run game was, I didn't think very good. Ohio State is not great at zone blocking. They ran a couple of other...the tried to power. They ran a little GT play early in the game that popped for a big run. Didn't see them come back to that, which I was interested. I kept waiting for them to get back to that concept and it didn't happen."

With Ryan Day and Brian Hartline now apparently splitting the play-calling duties offensively, Klatt obviously sees plenty of room for improvement after that week one road performance against Indiana.

"I don't know exactly who's calling the plays. Obviously in previous years, it was Ryan (Day). They've been vague about that, obviously with the new coordinator switch with Brian Hartline. I'm sure that they're trying to have more of a collaborative effort now. But I will just say, like, I just didn't think that the offensive line played all that well. There was pressure on McCord at times when he wanted to release a deep shot and he couldn't get to it. It was not a great performance offensively from Ohio State. There is a lot to fix there."
