Media Reactions: Michigan Football Thrashes Michigan State on Saturday

In this story:
If there was any worry that yet another allegation surrounding the football program was going to be a distraction for Michigan -- it was quickly absolved.
Michigan scored a touchdown on its first three drives of the game and forced three three-and-outs on defense. The Wolverines outgained Michigan State 339-51 yards in the first half, and once again, J.J. McCarthy was sensational for Michigan.
McCarthy ended the game throwing for 287 yards and four touchdowns. He threw two touchdowns to Colston Loveland, one to Roman Wilson, and one to AJ Barner. Barner was huge against the Spartans after grabbing eight catches for 99 yards, with a score.
After defeating the Spartans, 49-0, there was plenty of talk on social media about Michigan.

Former Michigan great Steve Hutchinson with a joke after Michigan stuffed MSU on a 4th and short.
We must have stole their sign to know how to stop them on a 4th and 1 run up the middle. #GoBlue #ncaaisajoke

Almost feels like a lock that J.J. will break the single-season touchdown record at Michigan
J.J. McCarthy's night is done. He finishes 21-for-27 for 287 yards and 4 TD.

He's up to 18 passing scores on the year. Single-season record at Michigan is 25.
Not much else needs said
There's a reason Michigan is called the Wolverine State!#GoBlue pic.twitter.com/sJOhAByvoZ
