Michigan added a commitment on Tuesday.

2025 defensive lineman, Bobby Kanka, pledged to the Wolverines. He was in Ann Arbor this past weekend for the BBQ event and chose Michigan over Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, and others.

Kanka, a lifelong Michigan fan, is a four-star recruit according to the Composite. He is the 313th-ranked recruit in the 2025 cycle, the 32nd-ranked defensive lineman, and the No. 4 player in the state of Michigan.

Entering his junior year of high school, Kanka has good size standing at 6-foot-4, 255-pounds. The Howell (Michigan) native will have a couple more years to bulk up before coming to Ann Arbor.

The Wolverines now have three commitments in the '25 class. Kanka joins cornerback Chris Ewald Jr. and linebacker Mantrez Walker.

The maize and blue currently have the No. 7 class in the 2025 cycle, according to the Composite.
