In this story:

Michigan has grabbed everyones attention.

After dismantling Ohio State for the last two years and making it to the College Football Playoff, recruits are really starting to pay attention. So much so, that U-M currently has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the 2024 cycle. As the Wolverines look to add to that group, prospects from around the country are starting to pencil in official visits to Ann Arbor.

One of those prospects is Cincinnati Withrow cornerback Terhyon Nichols.

The 6-0, 180-pounder is considered the a four-star cornerback per the 247 Composite, but is pretty modestly rated overall. However, he has 30+ offers from some big time schools, which indicates he might be underrated.

Recently, Nichols announced three of his official visits, and Michigan is going to be one of them. After being offered in early-March and then visiting just a week later, Nichols has become interested enough in the Wolverines to spend one of his five official visits on a return trip to Ann Arbor.

As of right now, Nichols will check out Michigan after Pittsburgh and Penn State. His visit schedule looks like this:

June 9: Pittsburgh

June 16: Penn State

June 23: Michigan

It's worth noting that Nichols doesn't hold an offer from the in-state Ohio State Buckeyes, but still lists them as a school he's interested in. If OSU were to get involved, one would think that would shake up the talented defensive back's plans. Ohio State currently does not have a defensive back committed in the 2024 class.
