Michigan To Officially Host 6-7, 250-pound Edge Rusher

In this story:
If there's one position that seems to excel at Michigan, at least in recent years, it's the EDGE rusher position. After putting Aidan Hutchinson into the NFL as the No. 2 overall pick, Michigan can certainly sell development to recruits at that position. That's got to be one major reason why Olney (Md.) Good Counsel EDGE Darien Mayo is ready to check out Ann Arbor.
The 6-7, 247-pounder recently laid out his June travel plans with On3's Chad Simmons and it looks like Michigan will get the last crack at the high-upside prospect, at least in the month of June.
With Clemson, Ohio State and USC also in the mix for official visits in the same month, Michigan will obviously have its work cut out for itself. Mayo isn't necessarily the highest-rated prospect, but with that size and loads of potential, plenty of big time programs are interested in him as evidenced by the official visit schedule.
