In this story:

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas wide receiver James Madison II released a top ten in early January that consisted of Missouri, LSU, Oregon, Colorado, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Penn State, Florida State, South Carolina and Auburn, but recently visited Michigan and is now having some different thoughts about his recruitment.

Missouri, Oregon and Florida State have made the second wave of cuts, while Louisville and Michigan are new additions after the 6-3, 190-pounder took visits to both over the last few weeks.

Now, Madison will likely take official visits to all five schools in his top group in order to make a decision about where he wants to continue his academic and athletic career. Michigan might not throw it as much as some of the other schools, but the Wolverines are unmatched when it comes to success on the field and academic prowess compared to the others on Madison's list. Throw in the fact that five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis is in the class and that U-M is now doing more with NIL, and Michigan is starting to become harder and harder to turn down despite some offensive shortcomings when it comes to wide receivers.
