Michigan is trending for a couple of 2025 players. The Wolverines have been predicted to land running back Justin Baker and wide receiver Elijah Dotson in the past couple of weeks.

Now the maize and blue have been linked to in-state defensive tackle, Bobby Kanka. It's not overly shocking, because there have been predictions for the Wolverines to land Kanka for quite a while, but The Maize & Blue Review's Josh Henschke put in the latest prediction for Michigan to land Kanka.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pound lineman hails out of Howell (Michigan) and he is a four-star recruit according to the Composite. He is the 305th-ranked recruit in the 2025 class and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Michigan.

There are five predictions on 247Sports predicting the lineman to go to Michigan. Looking over on On3 at the Recruiting Prediction Machine, the maize and blue have a significant lead with a 99.1% chance to land Kanka.

While he is a four-star recruit, Kanka doesn't have a ton of big-time offers on his resume. The biggest offers he has are from Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Tennessee, plus a few other Power Five offers.

Michigan currently has two commitments in the class of '25 and both are on the defensive side of the ball. Getting Kanka would only help improve the defense and help the '25 recruiting class.
