Coveted Offensive Lineman Set To Visit Michigan This Spring

Michigan has weathered the transfer portal storm so now it's time to hit the recruiting trail hard.

New Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore has always been billed as a solid recruiter so it should surprise no one that big time prospects, especially offensive line prospects, are still very interested in the Wolverines despite all the turnover on the staff. One such prospect is set to visit the Wolverines next month.

Denton (Texas) Ryan offensive tackle Marcus Garcia will be in Ann Arbor on March 24.

The 6-5, 265-pounder is coveted for a few reasons, one being his versatility. Depending on where you look, Garcia is listed as both a tackle and an interior offensive lineman. That's one fo the reasons the Texas native has around 30 offers form big time programs like Michigan, Florida, Florida State, Texas A&M and Washington among others.

Garcia will check out Michigan but before that, he'll be at Alabama then Missouri and then Arkansas. After the trip to Ann Arbor, Garcia will be at Florida the Florida State and then Ole Miss, followed by an official visit at Nebraska on April 26.
