Strengths: BJC has the talent to be a great WR.  Let’s look at two examples.  Against Montana State in the first quarter with 9:03 on the clock, the Spartans had a second and nine at the Bobcats 42. He ran an inside slant and showed remarkable hands and protected the ball for a first down.
Â
Another example was against Montana State with 8:31 on the clock at the Bobcats 29. He ran a perfect route and showed the patience that some in the NFL don’t have. It was a clear demonstration of his talent.
Â
Weakness: Now let’s look at two plays that clearly show his weakness. In the first quarter against UM with 9:23 on the clock at the MSU 47 the Spartan had a first and ten. In what was a long gain for Blair White. BJC kept blocking five yards out of bounds and got a personal foul. It was a lack of discipline mistake that dearly hurt his team. Â
Â
Another example from that game was at the 8:55 point of the critical fourth quarter at the UM 38. BJC lined up wrong and the Spartans had to waste a time out. That mistake is can’t happen from a player with BJCs talent and intellect.
Â
Final Analysis: BJC is blessed with incredible amounts of God given talent. He is a charismatic young man with personality and talent. He can be as good as he wants to be. Some players do have a ceiling on what they can do. Not BJC. He sets his ceiling of achievement only. He possesses tremendous talent and when focused he is incredible to watch. When the Spartans head to a three WR set he is the third guy.
