East Lansing, MI – Spartan Nation is back with more Michigan State football recruiting news – this time, MSU looks at a future tight end.

After being contacted by the coaching staff, tight end Darren Agu said, "Thank you sincerely, Michigan State University, for the scholarship offer! I'm excited and can't wait to visit."

He currently plays for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Georgia and is the No. 31 ranked tight end in the 2022 class.

However, the Spartans offered Agu on Nov. 4, 2020, well before he was ranked.

The 6-foot-6, 235-pound TE holds offers from Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
