One of the biggest blowhards in the history of college football, and the NFL for that matter, is making a clown of himself once again. The subject in question is former Michigan and Tennessee Titan offensive lineman Taylor Lewan, who often goes out of his way to make an ass of himself, especially during 'Hate Week' leading up to the annual Michigan-Michigan State football game. 

This year is no different.

While Lewan rarely ever stops flapping his gums, his annual goading of anything MSU-related during rivalry week began Monday when he commented on Michigan State men's basketball being ranked No. 4 in The Associated Press' preseason Top 25 poll.

At no surprise, Lewan's taunt got him the attention he so desperately wanted from Michigan State fans, who immediately brought up the fact that the "basketball school" beat his Wolverine teams in three out of the four seasons he played at Michigan (four out of five if you include Lewan's redshirt season). In those years, the Spartans outscored the Wolverines 101-49, an average of nearly two touchdowns per game (13 ppg).

Michigan State fans also reminded Lewan that, during his senior season, he was part of the U-M offensive line that allowed quarterback Devin Gardner to be sacked seven times by the Spartans, in a game the Wolverines lost 29-6 and finished with minus-48 rushing yards — the worst rushing performance in the history of Michigan football.

Upon being reminded of this, and other unsightly things regarding the former Wolverine's character, Lewan took to social media to further taunt the MSU fanbase and this year's Michigan State football team.

If you want to know the content of the video without giving Lewan the satisfaction of watching it, here's the basic rundown: He doubles-down on his "basketball school" comment; compliments MSU fans for "coming at my neck"; admits that when he was at Michigan they "[expletive] sucked", and goes on to predict the Wolverines dropping "at least 50" on the Spartans this weekend — with several more F-bombs sprinkled in.

As mentioned above, this isn't anything new for Lewan. He's a blowhard with a checkered past (do a Google search if you want to learn more about the guy) who's been given a microphone and an audience with his involvement at Barstool Sports.

At Michigan, he was an All-American-level player and eventual first-round draft pick within a bad football program. His time in Ann Arbor is a period most Michigan fans would love to forget — 1-4 vs. Michigan State, 1-4 vs. Ohio State, 1-3 in bowl games, 38-26 overall and 19-21 in Big Ten play. He's also a former Wolverine even some Michigan fans wish had never darkened the doors of Schembechler Hall.
