MSU Coaches On The Road Tour Invades Chicago

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University alumni, fans and friends are invited to attend the second-annual MSU Coaches on the Road tour, with a stop scheduled for Wednesday, May 19 in Chicago, Ill. The Coaches on the Road tour provides MSU alumni, fans and friends with a special opportunity to enjoy a casual tailgate and autograph session from 5:30-7 p.m. CDT with athletics director Mark Hollis, head football coach Mark Dantonio, men’s head basketball coach Tom Izzo, women’s head basketball coach Suzy Merchant, head hockey coach Rick Comley and head volleyball coach Cathy George along with other varsity head coaches. A formal program will be conducted from 7-7:30 p.m. CDT.

 

The event also features a live band, a Navy Pier caricaturist plus appearances by the MSU cheerleaders, Zeke the Wonder Dog and the entire Spartan baseball team (in town for a three-game series at Northwestern).

 

The May 19 event will be held in the Navy Pier ballroom in Chicago. Tickets are priced at $35 for MSU Alumni Association and Spartan Fund members and $40 for non-members and include all food and non-alcoholic beverages. Children 12 and under will be admitted for free; however, a ticket will be required for admission. Tickets for the Coaches on the Road event must be purchased in advance.
