To answer your question about the Chariot, yes we NEED to bring back Tradition. Would love to see the Chariot barrel thru a white, smoke wall from the tunnel and bring our beloved Spartans onto the field for battle! I don't know if you saw the Last Stand of the 300 on the History Channel. After seeing the 2-hour special on these warriors, I was PROUD to be a Spartan Fan. 300 men gave everything against 30,000 Persian soldiers ready to attack Sparta. They need to show this to the Athletic Dept. It would be sweet to incorporate this Spartan intensity/Movie into the stadium with Architecture or men wearing the traditional warrior gear. If people attending a MSU game saw that at Spartan Stadium, they would never forget it. You fight to the end no matter if you win or lose...you fight like Spartan Warriors!! MSU fans are different,

lets show people how different we are.

Â
Hondo - regarding your question on the Spartan chariot returning to Spartan Stadium -

I am huge fan of that happening...that was great for the fans and it got everyone excited

and pumped prior to the game...I would like to see MSU do more whether it is on the video board - music - Spartan chariot etc....anything to get Spartan stadium loud and engage the fans.

Â
Hondo, don't tell me you want a horse out on that field? I loved the horse and chariot

but that field is a work of art.  I don't mind the chariot but no horses.

GO GREEN!

Â
Hondo, bringing the chariot back is a fine idea in my book.

Â
Hondo, Absolutely!  I’ve been to every home state game from the time I can remember until freshman year in college. I went to State but sometimes the money situation didn’t allow me to get season tix during college. Anyway, the chariot is a staple in my mind when thinking about MSU pre-games...as is the bandleader leading the marching band out with the bass drum to "go state". I bleed green

Â
Hondo, I for one would love to see the Spartan Chariot return. Nothing pumped the crowd up as much as the Spartan Chariot with Go Green Go White pulling it! I remember being told before the grass went in that the chariot would still be part of the pre-game only to be told afterwards that it was too hard on the field. With today's technology they

can't redo the wheels to remedy this?

I love the idea of having the chariot back. That is bull [crap] that they say we can't

put a horse on the field but Oklahoma, Florida State and USC do.
