Spartan Football Season-Ticket Renewals Now Being Accepted Online

Michigan State has made three straight postseason bowl appearances under head coach Mark Dantonio.



EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Spartan Ticket Office is now accepting online renewals from Michigan State football season-ticket holders at The overall pricing structure for football season-ticket holders remains the same for the second year in a row.


Season tickets are priced at $308 for the general public ($44 per game), $252 for faculty/staff ($36 per game), $231 for Family Plan ($33 per person; end zone seating), $175 for young alumni ($25 per game) and $136 for MSU students (less than $20 per game).


Season-ticket holders that complete the online renewal form and pay by E-Check save the $12 processing fee.


In advance of the May 1 deadline, renewal forms will be mailed in April to season-ticket holders that do not complete the online form.


Fourth-year Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and his team will tackle a demanding seven-game home schedule in 2010, including non-conference games against Western Michigan (Sept. 4), Notre Dame (Sept. 18) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 25), plus Big Ten contests against Wisconsin (Oct. 2), Illinois (Oct. 16/Homecoming), Minnesota (Nov. 6) and Purdue (Nov. 20).


Coach Dantonio expects to welcome back as many as 15 starters from last year’s 6-7 team, including seven on offense, seven on defense and one specialist. In 2009, Dantonio became just the second coach in Michigan State history to earn a postseason bowl bid in each of his first three seasons (2007 Champs Sports Bowl vs. Boston College, 2009 Capital One Bowl vs. Georgia and 2010 Valero Alamo Bowl vs. Texas Tech).


Michigan State has ranked among the NCAA’s top 25 in football attendance each of the last 54 years, including No. 18 in 2009, averaging 74,741 fans per game. The Spartans ranked No. 16 in the NCAA in total attendance, as 523,186 fans went through the turnstiles for seven home games in 2009.
