  • Both Brandon McKinney (defensive end) and Derrick Mason (wide receiver) started for the Ravens in a 37-34 win over the Bills in overtime. Mason also added on two catches for 48 yards.

 

  • Nose tackle Ogemdi Nwagbuo picked up two tackles for the Chargers and quarterback Brian Hoyer of the Patriots did not play in New England’s 23-20 victory over San Diego.

 

  • Chris Baker started at tight end for the Seahawks in a 22-10 triumph over the Cardinals.

 

  • Since Rams defensive tackle Clifton Ryan was experiencing migraines, he was not active for the team’s 18-17 loss versus the Buccaneers. On Wednesday Ryan was placed on IR for the remainder of the season.

 

  • Bengals defensive tackle Domato Peko and center Kyle Cook started for Cincinnati in a 39-32 defeat at the hands of the Falcons. Peko lined up at nose tackle in the game, racking up three tackles and three assists.

 

  • In the Steelers’ 23-22 win over the Dolphins, Miami punter Brandon Fields had three punts for a 48.3 average while Flozell Adams started at right tackle for Pittsburgh. Adams suffered a left ankle injury when Randy Starks of the Dolphins fell on it. The seriousness of the injury has yet to be determined.

 

  • Two former Spartans- center Chris Morris and wide out Devin Thomas- were on the sidelines for the Panthers, but neither played. Carolina defeated the 49ers 23-20. Note: Thomas was on the Not Active list for the game.

 

  • Javon Ringer had two carries for the Titans at running back in a 37-19 victory over the Eagles.

 

  • In the Raiders 59-14 vanquishing of the Broncos, defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson and safety Renaldo Hill started for the Broncos while defensive back Jeremy Ware was on the Not Active list. Vickerson had one assist and Hill recorded six tackles and an assist on the day.

 

  • Kellen Davis started at tight end for the Bears in a 17-14 loss to the Redskins.

 

  • WR Blair White (Colts), SS Eric Smith (Jets), QB Drew Stanton (Lions), and LB Julian Peterson (Lions) were on bye this week.

 

  • Note: Running back Jehuu Caulcrick was signed by the 49ers to their practice squad on October 20th.

 

  • Note: Browns defensive end Robaire Smith was officially placed on injured reserve on October 20th for his back injury.

 

DE Ervin Baldwin was signed to the Bears’ practice squad on October 20th.
