Kevin Vickerson of the Broncos had two tackles and one assist against Tampa Bay in Denver’s 31-23 win over the Buccaneers. He has 32 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks on the year. Vickerson continues to garner praise for his solid play at defensive tackle, as reported in The Washington Post. The seven-year veteran is arguably having the best season of his career, thanks to a diet that helped him gain 40 pounds of mostly muscle in the offseason. As a result, Vickerson has been able to force opposing offensive lines to double team him. “I want to eat up blockers, let the backers run free and fast,” he said. “If I can take two…then that’s good. [I want to] take two guys and let the linebackers eat.” Denver linebacker Wesley Woodward enjoys playing with Vickerson. “He just makes things a lot easier on us. It’s [really] good when you don’t have to worry about linemen coming up to the next level,” Woodward said. Martin returned four punts for 67 yards, including one for 42 yards, and one kickoff for 14 yards. Houston clinched a playoff berth with the triumph.

Domata Peko posted a solid performance at defensive tackle for the Bengals in Cincinnati’s 20-13 win over the Chargers. Peko racked up three tackles, an assist, half of a sack and a quarterback hit against San Diego.

Quarterback Drew Stanton was not active for the Colts’ spectacular last-minute comeback win over the Lions, 35-33.

Rookie defensive tackle Jerel Worthy started for the Packers, but did not record any stats in the 23-14 victory over the Vikings. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published a great get-to-know story on Worthy -- make sure to check it out: http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/packknow01-1o7rrbi-181626371.html

The 49ers fell to the Rams, an NFC West foe, in a narrow 16-13 loss. The Spartan-49ers duo of Garrett Celek and Trenton Robinson flew under the radar, as Celek saw some playing time at tight end but did not record any stats, while Robinson was not active.

Greg Jones received some playing time at linebacker but did not record any stats for the Jaguars, as Jacksonville lost to the Bills, 34-18.
