Did You Notice?

• We're not sure what the holdup was, but running back Cody Schrader received and accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl. He's the sixth Tiger to say yes for the Feb. 3 all-star game in Mobile, Ala.

• Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr., who had already accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

• Tamar Bates has scored at least 10 points in three-straight games for the first time in his career, averaging 19.0 points over the three-game stretch. his 25 points and nine field goals made against Central Arkansas were the highest from a Tiger this season.

• Yes, this is Gary Pinkel saying: "It's awesome! I'm like a little kid in a candy store!"

Quote of the Day:

“To lose three games is not fun, is not happy. I credit our guys for not getting emotionally or psychologically fatigued. It’s a long season and they know that. They came back and they went home. They loved with their family, friends and loved ones, and they came back and got back to work. When you ask of them, you have to understand that it takes some healing, takes some sacrifices, and I do thank them for what they’ve done and for getting back to where we are. It feels good to win."
