Missouri Weekly Recruiting Update: Priority Prospect's Recruitment Winding Down

A weekly brief on everything involving Missouri recruiting and what fans should keep an eye out for.

Jack Lange announces top-six schools

4-star offensive tackle Jack Lange announced his final six schools on Feb. 16. That list included Nebraska, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Michigan and Missouri.

Lange is from Eureka, Mo, just two hours away from Columbia. He's the second highest ranked player in the state only behind WR Isaiah Mozee.

The tackle is a hot-commodity in the midwest, with offers from many schools in the region. Outside of his top-six, he held offers from Kansas, Iowa, Alabama and Oklahoma. The 6-8, 275-pound tackle would be an excellent addition for any of the above teams.

Lange is the No. 154 player in the country and No. 14 tackle.

As far as his recruitment goes, the Fighting Irish seem to be in the drivers seat, with multiple predictions on both 247Sports and On3 sending him to South Bend. There is no timetable for his commitment.

Texas DL sets Missouri visit

According to 247Sports, 4-star defensive lineman and Cypress, Tex native Landon Rink set an official visit to Missouri.

The visit will occur on March, 9, with other visits stacking up just days after. He's also looking at Ohio State, USC, Penn State and Texas A&M.

Rink comes in as the No. 329 player in the country, as well as No. 34 of all defensive lineman. The 6-2, 270-pound lineman also holds offers from top-tier programs like Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas, while also fielding offers from LSU, Miami, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin, per 247Sports.

Nash has date with Columbia

As reported last week, composite 3-star offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr. announced his top-10 schools, featuring the Missouri Tigers. Now, he has his visit date set for a trip to Columbia.

On March, 12, Nash will travel from his hometown of De Kalb, Mis to the University of Missouri for an official visit. Nash is the No. 370 player in the country and No. 13 player in the state of Mississippi.

Speaking of Mississippi, the in-state Bulldogs of Mississippi State received a 247Sports prediction to land the versatile offensive lineman.

Among the Tigers, Nash set up four other visits around the same time. He will travel to Clemson on March, 4, LSU on the seventh, Penn State on the fourteenth and Florida State on March, 23.

Unranked ATH receives first SEC offer

Minneapolis, Min native Emmanuel Karmo picked up an offer from Missouri on Feb. 20, marking his first offer from an SEC program.

Karmo is not composite ranked, but 247Sports lists him as the No. 48 ATH in the country and the best player in Minnesota. Karmo is unranked on ESPN and On3, but ranked as the No. 36 ATH on Rivals.

He holds offers from various schools, including Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, San Diego State, Southern Illinois, UNLV, USC and East Carolina.

Top-150 Prospect has Missouri in top schools

Jayden Woods, the No. 145 player in the country in composite rankings, listed Missouri in his "commitment contact list", according to his twitter. Woods plays for Mill Valley in Shawnee, Kan.

Listed along with the Tigers are Alabama, Baylor, Florida, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. There are no current predictions for the 4-star EDGE.

Woods ranks as the No. 14 EDGE in the nation, while being the No. 4 player in the state of Kansas. The Tigers are targeting multiple recruits in their neighbor state, including 4-stars Andrew Babalola and Dawson Merritt.
