• The football team held its first bowl-week practice at AT&T Stadium, where it'll face Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl on Friday. "I thought our guys had really good energy," Tigers head coach Eliah Drinkwitz said. "We're just now getting started on the week, so those guys were locked-in and we look forward to building every day from here." Missouri returned to the practice field for the first time since Wednesday and will settle into its regular game-week routine for the first time since last playing November 24.

• Both teams will practice five times at AT&T Stadium, once each day, in preparation for the 88th Cotton Bowl Classic. Ohio State Held its first on-site practice on Sunday morning.

• Michael Porter Jr. will headline the Mizzou contingency playing in NBA games on Christmas Day, as the Denver Nuggets will host the Golden State Warriors at 1:30 p.m. CT (ABC/ESPN). The Lakers, who have D'Moi Hodge on the roster, play the Celtics at 4 p.m. (also ABC/ESPN). At 7 p.m., the Miami Heat (Dru Smith) host the Philadelphia 76ers (ESPN).

• Offensive lineman Javon Foster accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl. He's the fifth Missouri football player who will be heading to Mobile, Ala., for the weeklong practices and all-star game on Feb. 3.

Mizzou Quote of the Day:

"I think just the reality of game week being here, the intensity and the focus that we have I think is all starting to come together right now."
