• Men's basketball fell to Georgia 75-68 in the SEC opener
• No. 12 Mizzou gymnastics team set a school record for a season opener with a score of 197.150, which was first among Lindenwood, Northern Illinois and SEMO. Junior Jocelyn Moore tied her career high and the program high on floor exercise with a 9.975.
