Dodson is a composite 3-star receiver from the state of Tennessee. He ranks as the No. 546 player in the country and No. 80 at the WR position. Dodson named Tennessee and the Missouri Tigers as his two final schools going into him commitment day.

Missouri was a school that had been involved since the very beginning of his recruitment, offering him after his sophomore year.

"Mizzou was a school that came in pretty early. They offered me after my tenth grade year and we've had a good relationship," Dodson said.

Dodson was in Columbia for the Tigers matchup against LSU back in October. The Tigers lost that matchup 49-39 in a nail biter.

"I loved the culture and I loved the atmosphere. I felt like a priority to them," Dodson said.

Dodson also recognized the success head coach Eli Drinkwitz has had recently in Columbia.

Coach Drink is a great leader for them. They all have a chip on their shoulder," Dodson said.

As Missouri continues to develop and push out high-level receivers, the possibility of joining that group excited Dodson. The Tigers ability to push the ball down the field helps with receiver development in Columbia.

They push the ball down the field and have an attack mindset. They want to put the defense on their heels and put their receivers in position to make plays," Dodson.

Tennessee was the other program that stood out, getting involved even earlier than Missouri did. The Volunteers offered Dodson midway through his sophomore year, 4 months before the Tigers did.

The coaches showed Dodson lots of love before even extending an offer.

"My relationship stood out the most. I went to a camp after coach Heupel's first season and they really made me feel like a priority," Dodson said.

Coach Heupel and the Volunteers really stood out during the December contact period, talking

"Most coaches pick and choose, getting alot of different recruits in different time slots. Coach Heupel came down here twice, which was big for me," Dodson said.

Not only did Heupel check in on Dodson himself, he checked in on his family. That was another thing that stood out for the 3-star receiver.

Dodson also recently visited Knoxville, going there this past weekend for his second official visit. It was a Junior Day type, where multiple recruits showed up." I was able to hang out with coaches and continuing to build that camaraderie.

" I was able to hang out with coaches anc continuing to build that camaraderie," Dodson said.

Dodson also had deep interest from Indiana, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech. He does not see those schools backing off after his commitment is announced.

The Tennessee native will announce his commitment via social media tomorrow, again deciding between Tennessee and Missouri.
