The No. 12 Missouri Tigers football will visit Athens, Ga. to face the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. CT (CBS).

It's a highly anticipated SEC matchup, where Missouri has the chance to do the impossible and defeat the reigning back-to-back college football champions.

Georgia is currently on a 35 regular season game winning streak, in addition to a 23-game winning streak at home.

The contest will feature a battle of the Tigers dominant red-zone offense (97.1 percent success rate) pitted against one of the top defenses in college football, as the Bulldogs have just allowed an average of 14.8 points per game.

To come away with a win in Athens, Missouri will need to fire at all cylinders right out of the gate. The Tigers find success when the offense gets hot early, so throwing the long-ball and getting running back Cody Schrader involved from the start can help ignite a quality drive.

Missouri cannot let off the gas at any point in the game, which it did against LSU in early October, ultimately costing it the game and a perfect season heading into Georgia.

The Bulldogs are missing a key piece in tight end Brock Bowers, so the key matchup will likely be wide receiver Ladd McConkey. The junior is coming off an impressive 135-yard performance, positioning himself as Georgia quarterback Carson Beck's No. 1 option.

Ahead of the Tigers’ road bout with the Bulldogs, here is the final injury report.

If the Tigers win?

A win for Missouri would cause an earthquake in the SEC standings.

The Tigers would take a commanding lead in the SEC East, giving them the tie-breaker advantage over Georgia in the SEC championship game, while also setting themselves nicely for a potential bid in the College Football Playoff.

The win would go down as arguably the greatest in Missouri football history, putting the program on notice across the country.
