• Wide receiver Ryan Wingo, considered by some to be a top-five prospect in the nation, was at Faurot Field for Missouri's homecoming game. The 6-2 product from St. Louis is set to announce his college decision on Wednesday between Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Miami.
• With the football victory, Missouri notched win No. 700 as a varsity program.
• The Tigers extended their homecoming winning streak to seven games, dating back to 2017.

On This Day in Mizzou History:
October 22, 1893: Missouri played the first of two games against the Denver Athletic Club and was promptly routed 40-0. It fared a little better a year later, losing 26-0.
October 22, 2005: Quarterback Brad Smith had 246 yards rushing on 28 carries and was 21-for-36 for 234 yards to set a school record with 480 yards in total offense. He ran for three scores and threw for another. Missouri squandered an 18-point firs-round quarter lead, but bounced back to beat Nebraska 41-24.
