Sunday will be a busy day around PNC Arena and the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.

Not only will the NC State basketball team tune up for the 2019-20 season by playing Mount Olive in an exhibition game at 2 p.m., but Sunday will also mark the final day of the NC State Fair with large crowds expected to attend.

Because of the traffic and parking issues associated with the two popular events, Wolfpack fans are encouraged to allow for extra time to travel to the game.

Here are a few parking tips for Sunday:

◼ Fans are encouraged to use Gate E (Edwards Mill Road) and Gate F (Westchase Blvd.) entrances to the Arena lots. Trinity Road gates will be open, but should be avoided because of fair traffic.

◼ Parking lots for fans attending the game at PNC Arena on Sunday will open up at 11 a.m.

◼ Season parking passes will be honored for all Arena lots.

◼ Parking is $10 in the lots surrounding PNC Arena.

◼ State students attending the game on Sunday can park in the Arena lots free of charge by showing their student ID

Doors to PNC Arena will open at 1 p.m. All tickets are general admission and cost $5.
