Husker Receiver Zavier Betts Not With the Team

Contents
Wide receiver Zavier Betts' future with Nebraska football became a big question mark after Thursday's practice, the Huskers' eighth of spring.
Betts is "not a member of the team right now," head coach Scott Frost told reporters. Frost did not specify why, nor would he say whether the third-year receiver from Bellevue West might return.
Frost called the morning's practice the best of spring thus far. "I was really impressed with the intensity and desire to get better."
Much more from Thursday's post-practice interviews is in the links below, including offensive lineman Nouri Nouili's enthusiastic description of the unit's performance under new coach Donovan Raiola. Also notable is running back Jaquez Yant's improved game and physical condition.
