Big 12: All Pokes Staff Big 12 Football Power Rankings After Week 11

How far did the Cowboys fall after a big loss to the Knights? Who climbed the rankings?

Week 11 of the college football season is well behind us now, and the All Pokes staff got together to create power rankings for Big 12 football.

1. Texas, 9-1 (6-1)

The Longhorns had a close call this past weekend, squeaking out a win over TCU and fending off a comeback. The Longhorns scored just three second-half points to the Horned Frogs' 20 fourth-quarter points.

2. Oklahoma, 8-2 (5-2)

The Sooners certainly looked to find their way out of their dry spell while dominating West Virginia this weekend. While it might be too little, too late, the Sooners looked like the team that took down Texas.

3. Kansas State, 7-3 (5-2)

Just like the Sooners, the Wildcats just lost one of the wrong games and it might bite them. They dominated Baylor this past weekend and looked like a team capable of competing in a Big 12 championship game after winning it last year.

4. Oklahoma State, 7-3 (5-2)

While the Cowboys' loss this past weekend was quite embarrassing, their wins will outweigh this loss and they should be able to get back on track next weekend. They still are in a good spot for the Big 12 championship game if they win out.

5. Iowa State, 6-4 (5-2)

The Cyclones dominated BYU this weekend, but having to take on Texas is critical to the remainder of their season and holds plenty of weight across the Big 12 standings.

6. Kansas, 7-3 (4-3)

While the Jayhawks' program turnaround has been fun, they've been injury-riddled once again, which hasn't allowed them to reach their full potential. They took a tight loss to Texas Tech this past weekend to help them take a fall.

7. Texas Tech, 5-5 (4-3)

As mentioned above, the Red Raiders upset Kansas and this helped them improve their Big 12 record to above .500.

8. West Virginia, 6-4 (4-3)

After a bit of a hot start this season, the Mountaineers have taken a bit of a tumble in the standings and with their record. Their most recent loss comes to the Sooners.

9. UCF, 5-5 (2-5)

The Knights absolutely dominated Oklahoma State this weekend. Their Big 12 record is still too low to raise them too, too high, but they seemed to have figured some things out against the Cowboys.

10. TCU, 4-6 (2-5)

Again, the Horned Frogs almost completed a comeback to upset the Longhorns on Saturday, though they fell just short.

11. BYU, 5-5 (2-5)

The Cougars were stomped by the Cyclones this weekend. They've got more big challenges coming up to finish out their season.

12. Houston, 4-6 (2-5)

While hanging on by a thread, the Cougars' bowl hopes aren't completely dead. They've got to win their final two matchups, but after losing to Cincinnati, they've made things much more difficult for themselves.

13. Baylor, 3-7 (2-5)

The Bears were blown out by the Wildcats this weekend. They're in the mix for the bottom ranking as the season winds down.

14. Cincinnati, 3-7 (1-6)

The Bearcats finally picked up a conference win as they took down Houston this past weekend, though their one conference win is the lowest in the Big 12.
