OXFORD, Miss. -- 2024 three-star offensive lineman William Echoles announced via social media on Saturday that he has committed to the Ole Miss Rebels. Echoles previously announced his top six schools on June 5 which included Ole Miss, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, Missouri Tigers, and Tulane Green Wave.

With Echoles' pledge, Ole Miss is up to 17 total commitments for its 2024 recruitment class. The Rebels received nine commitments in June, and it appears Lane Kiffin and Co. are intent on keeping the train rolling into July.

According to On3 rankings, Echoles is rated as the No. 25 recruit in the state of Mississippi and the No. 63 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive lineman is listed as the No. 809 overall prospect in 2024.

"First and foremost I want to thank God for putting me in the position I am in today. I would also like to thank my mother who was been there with me every step of the way. With that being said for the next 3-4 years I will be attending The University of Mississippi." - - Echoles via Twitter.

The Houston, Miss., native received offers from his top six teams as well as the Louisville Cardinals, Houston Cougars, USF Bulls, Southern Miss Golden Eagles, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Liberty Flames, Arkansas State Red Wolves, and Akron Zips.

Echoles brings versatility to both sides of the ball. He is listed as an interior offensive lineman by On3, but Rivals has him entered as an offensive tackle. On his Twitter profile, Echoles states that he is both an offensive tackle and defensive tackle. According to On3, Echoles was primarily recruited by Ole Miss defensive line coach, Randall Joyner.
