Today's Locked On Ole Miss Podcast we talk about the release of the Phil Steele position groups rankings for 2023. This may come as a surprise to some, but only the USC Trojans even compete in the offensive rankings with the Ole Miss Rebels. So, for the first time in my lifetime, someone other than me has Ole Miss with a top 10 QB room, a top 10 RB room and a top 10 OL room.

In the second segment of the show, we talk about we talk about the defensive units and the surprise I saw where every one of Pete Golding's units were rated in the top half nationally. If the Ole Miss football team has a defense that is statistically ranked in the 50s, then this Ole Miss Rebels team is going to win a ton of games.

In our final segment of the day, we look at 2025 QB Deuce Knight from George County H.S. in Lucedale, Miss. We talk about what kind of prospect he is and where he sits for recent QB commits from The Sip. Then Brian Smith comes by to give a breakdown on this potentially special prospect.
