LOOK: Ole Miss Reveals New Uniform Combo Ahead of Road Game at Tulane

The Rebels revealed their uniform plans for the weekend on Thursday night.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels are sticking with the trend of mixing up their uniform options, debuting a never-before-seen combination on the field this weekend when they face the Tulane Green Wave in New Orleans.

The Rebels are wearing the version of their white helmets that saw the field in the Sugar Bowl to conclude the 2021 season paired with their typical road jersey and white pants. You can see the full uniform reveal from Thursday night here.

Ironically, this is only the second time Ole Miss has worn this helmet design with the other also coming in New Orleans in January 2022. That installment of the Allstate Sugar Bowl saw the Rebels fall to the Baylor Bears 21-7 after quarterback Matt Corral left the game in the first half with an ankle injury.

In that game, this helmet was paired with the Rebels' powder blue jerseys, so this is the first time it will be worn with a road uniform set.

Tulane also released its uniform plans for the weekend on Thursday, opting to go with white helmets, its version of powder blue jerseys and white pants. Needless to say, there will be a lot of blue and white on the field come Saturday afternoon.

The Rebels and Green Wave are scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, and the game can be seen on ESPN2.
