Rebels, Lane Kiffin Land Pair of Commitments From Jam Griffin and SanFrisco McGee

The Ole Miss Rebels landed a pair of impact commitments on Friday

The Ole Miss Rebels are getting ready to kick off the new season with high expectations at their backs.

However, they are also putting in some serious work on the recruiting trail, landing a pair of impact commitments on Friday night.

The first commitment came from Oregon State transfer running back Jamious Griffin. In three seasons at Oregon State, Griffin rushed 86 times for 488 yards and four touchdowns in 21 appearances.

Griffin had transferred to Oregon State from Georgia Tech, where he rushed 91 rushing times for 377 yards and two scores.

However, the Rebels weren't done there, also landing a pledge from three-star 2024 wide receiver SanFrisco McGee.

McGee, a McComb, Mississippi native, is rated by On3 as the No. 126 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 26 player in the state of Mississippi.

McGee now becomes the 18th commitment for the Rebels 2024 class, joining fellow receivers Rahji Dennis and Jeremy Scott.

He is also now the seventh commitment on the offensive side of the ball for Lane Kiffin, in a class that, until Friday night, had been heavy on the defensive side of things throughout the cycle.

Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 198 pounds, McGee picked the Rebels over Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Louisville, and others.
