Ole Miss Rebels Reveal Jersey Numbers for First-Year Players

Between new transfers and true freshmen, the Ole Miss Rebels have many new faces taking the field in 2023. To help Ole Miss fans keep up with the 41 newcomers, 247Sports released the jersey numbers for the first-year players.

As expected, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin hit the NCAA Transfer Portal hard this offseason, recruiting 25 players and earning the No. 5 transfer class in the country. Kiffin's portal haul was headlined by transfer quarterbacks Spencer Sanders (Oklahoma State) and Walker Howard (LSU). Kiffin and Co. also reeled in the highest-graded cornerback returning to the SEC in 2023, Deshawn Gaddie.

The other new kids in town are members of Ole Miss' 2023 recruitment class. The class includes 16 commits (one five-star, seven four-stars, and eight three-stars) and was rated as the No. 21 class in the country, per On3 rankings.
