OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels hosted their Pro Day on Wednesday and 12 prospects participated in drills with NFL coaches and scouts in attendance.

Among the prospects was Ole Miss senior edge rusher Tavius Robinson who led the team in sacks and forced fumbles last fall with 7.0 and 5.5, respectively. Robinson had the chance to speak with the media after his workouts and is confident about his performance.

"It was a good day for sure," Robinson told reporters. "I finished my three-cone and then had some good d-line sessions... I hit all the numbers I wanted to hit at the combine, and then today went really well."

Robinson reflected on what the draft process has been like for him since his final season at Ole Miss came to a close.

"It's been crazy, but it's been a good process," Robinson said. "It seems like the season just ended, then I was training for the combine and the Senior Bowl. It's all gone by really fast, but I've enjoyed every minute of it."

At 6-6, 265-pounds, Robinson has the size and athleticism to be a difference-maker in the NFL if he lands in the right spot, but he has not gotten a lot of early-round buzz. The veteran edge believes he has sleeper potential, however.

"[Ole Miss] plays in the best conference, the SEC, so I have that film right there," Robinson said. "Then I have the size and the will to want to get better at edge and become an elite player."

The Guelph, Ontario, native has taken a different path to the NFL than your average college football player. Robinson arrived in Oxford ahead of the 2020 season as a junior after spending two seasons with the University of Guelph in Ontario, and soon became an important cog in Ole Miss' edge rush rotation, appearing in 34 games for the Rebels.

"It's crazy," Robinson said. "I remember watching the last two drafts in Canada on my living room floor and thinking I want to be there one day. Getting the opportunity to come to Ole Miss, play my collegiate years here, and now the NFL Draft. It's crazy, but it's what I've worked for."
