Alabama Portal CB Trey Amos to Visit Ole Miss

The Ole Miss Rebels are set to host Alabama Crimson Tide portal cornerback Trey Amos this weekend, per reports.

The potential roster pillaging of the Alabama Crimson Tide is underway, and the Ole Miss Rebels are wanting in on the action.

According to reports from On3, the Rebels are set to host Alabama portal cornerback Trey Amos this weekend after he played in all 14 games for the Tide in 2023.

Amos began his career with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, suiting up in Lafayette for three seasons before joining the Tide in 2023. Over the course of his career, the corner has accumulated 71 total tackles (52 solo) and one interception.

The potential exodus from Tuscaloosa comes on the heels of legendary head coach Nick Saban announcing his retirement earlier this month. The Tide opted to hire Washington Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer after he led his team to the national championship game this season.

This visit news comes on the heels of Ole Miss losing some defensive portal commitments in recent days, all of whom have flipped to the Louisville Cardinals. Former Illinois Fighting Illini defensive back Tahveon Nicholson was also projected to flip from Ole Miss to Louisville on Wednesday afternoon.
