Thanksgiving Dinner has wrapped up in most households around America, which means it is time to sit down and enjoy one of the most bitter rivalries in college athletics.

The annual Egg Bowl between the Ole Miss Rebels (9-2) and Mississippi State Bulldogs (5-6) is set to kickoff on Thursday night, and both teams have something to play for despite the difference in their records. Ole Miss is looking to achieve its second 10-win regular season in three years, while State is just trying to secure its sixth victory to make a bowl appearance.

The Bulldogs are looking for any way to end their 2023-24 season on a high note after first-year coach Zach Arnett was fired just 10 games into the season. Greg Knox has since taken over as interim coach

Ole Miss and State are meeting for the 120th Egg Bowl, and the Rebels lead the all-time series versus the Bulldogs with a record of 64-46-6.

The Rebels and Bulldogs are scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on ESPN.
