The Ole Miss Rebels have officially secured a tight end in their 2024 recruiting class, landing three-star Dillon Hipp’s NLI on Wednesday during Early Signing Day.

The 6-6, 230-pound tight end out of Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.) High School is rated as the No. 16 player in the state of Arizona and the No. 58 tight end nationally, according to On3. He signs with the Rebels over offers from major programs such as the Arizona State Sun Devils, TCU Horned Frogs, Baylor Bears and Tennessee Volunteers. Hipp has been committed to the Rebels since Aug. 6 of this year.

Over the course of his high school career with the Desert Mountain Wolves, Hipp accumulated 61 receptions for 707 yards and six scores. In 2023, he helped lead his team to a 9-2 overall record, and his biggest game of the season came in a 24-22 win over Horizon High School where he tallied six receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Hipp comes to Ole Miss on the heels of an announcement from current Rebels tight end Caden Prieskorn that he plans to return for the 2024 season, so Hipp will likely serve as an understudy in that room during his early days at Ole Miss.
